The Channel Guide feature allows you to keep track of show time and the schedule for the following two weeks. This is a welcome feature because previously users would need to use a separate device like a phone or laptop to find show times. Unfortunately, most of Adobes software is expensive, bloated, insecure, etc. As a groovy alternative, I’ve found a groovy little program called Nitro PDF reader. Windows 10 users have reported having issues with their graphics cards, namely the NVIDIA GeForce variety. It looks like NVIDIA is doing its best to stay on top of the situation though. Bring Back the Reminder Bell in Calendar A reminder in Outlook 2003 would also pop up notifying you of the appointment by default. You still will get a reminder pop-up when a meeting is ready in 2010 and 20013, but the bell icon doesn’t display on the Calendar. Turn on the Calendar Reminder Bell In either 2010 or 2013 go to File > Options > Calendar. Then scroll down to the Calendar Options section and check the box “Show bell icon on the calendar for appointments and meetings with reminders,” then remember to click OK to save the setting....
When you upgrade your system, Windows creates a copy of the previous version on the local hard drive in case you need to roll back to the previous install. Maybe the installation wasn’t successful, an important program keeps crashing, or something else goes awry. But if everything is going just fine after the update (wait a few weeks before making that call), you can delete that backup copy. Over time, it collects a lot of outdated files you don’t need....
We’re talking about group video calling for businesses. Skype has been trying to do more in the business sector for a while now, and it would seem that they’re finally getting serious about it. The new feature allows Skype’s business customers to perform video calls with a number of people ranging between 3 and 10. This means that you can basically have a board meeting online, over Skype, without using an expensive video conference solution....
Stay In & Sling In response to everyone being stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, Sling is providing free live streaming content. According to the announcement the Stay In & Sling service is available for a limited time (presumably until things calm down). Other devices including smartphones being used to tether other devices will no longer have unlimited data. Also, the 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB data plans are still available, but those limits apply to both 3G and 4G simultaneously. Affected Sprint data usage will be calculated by the combined total of 3G and 4G use....

When Google first launched the Nexus One they dubbed it a “superphone.” It wasn’t long after that more bigger, faster devices rolled of the press and the term “superphone” was short lived. Now Google has brought out their next phone in the line, the Nexus S. One of the cool things Cortana is able to do is identify songs that are playing. This is something apps like Shazam or SoundHound do (both are available for Windows Phone), but this featured is directly baked into Windows Phone 8.1 – no separate app required. Set Windows to Accept Remote Connections On your Windows PC, you need to set it to accept incoming remote connections. In Windows 8.1 right-click This PC, or Computer in Windows 7, then click Properties. On the next screen that comes up click Remote Settings in the left pane. That opens System Properties, and from there check “Allow remote connections to this computer” and for enhanced security check “Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication” then click OK....
